The First Clay Golem

Yesterday we wandered around Josefov, the Jewish Quarter of Prague, visiting the Old-New Synagogue (it was the new one, then they built a newer one) which is meant to have the remains of Rabbi Loew's Golem in the attic. Unfortunately, we couldn't get into the attic to check. I was able to buy a miniature version of the construct, as well as a postcard depicting him and the rabbi. I could also have purchased various musical rabbi statuettes or Jewish puppets but thought better of it.

In the evening we had a great dinner by the river overlooking the Charles Bridge. Nice way to spend my birthday and our last night in Prague!
